William G. Self, Jr., M.D. established Eye Surgery Center of Colorado in Westminster, Colorado in 1977 for the practice of general ophthalmology. Since then, Eye Surgery Center of Colorado has experienced continued growth with the addition of an on-site ambulatory surgical center, 2 satellite locations in Arvada and Thornton, and three additional doctors, Melinda C. O'Rourke, M.D., John W. Ashline, M.D., and Annie Chang, M.D.

Dr. Melinda C. O'Rourke joined Eye Surgery Center of Colorado in 1990 and sees patients in the Arvada office, 8850 Ralston Road as well as the Westminster office at 8403 Bryant St. Dr. John W. Ashline joined Eye Surgery Center of Colorado in 1997 and sees patients at the Thornton location, 9141 Grant St., Suite 110. The most recent addition to our staff is Dr. Annie Chang who sees patients at all three convenient locations. The physicians at Eye Surgery Center of Colorado treat medical eye diseases, as well as seeing patients for routine eye examinations. Dr. William Self and his staff of highly trained professionals stay in the forefront in the field of laser vision correction, specializing in the LASIK procedure. Available for both near and farsightedness, with or without astigmatism, the LASIK procedure has helped thousands of our patients see without the aid of glasses or contact lenses.

The Eye Surgery Center of Colorado participates with most HMOs, PPOs and third party insurance plans.
